Day 1


Get picked up at the airport and spend the night at Table Mountain Inn in downtown Golden, CO. http://www.tablemountaininn.com/. Enjoy dinner in historic Golden and meet your riding partners.

Day 2

Day Two – Golden to Salida: Our first day is an acclimation day that takes us down to the Arkansas River town of Salida. Along the way we will see antelope, cross a stream, and then drop 4,000 ft with amazing views of the Collegiate Peaks.

Day 3

Day Three – Salida to Crested Butte: Three passes, including 10,852 ft/ 3305m Marshall Pass await us on Day 3. We spend the night in the historic skiing and mining town of Crested Butte.

Day 4

Crested Butte to Lake City: Our day starts with ascents over Kebbler Pass and Ohio Pass 10,065 ft (3,068 m) before following Ohio Creek down to Gunnison. From there we ascend Owl Creek Pass and spend the night int he historic mining town of Lake City.http://www.lakecity.com

Day 5

Day Five – Lake City to Moab: A long and spectacular day today as we leave Lake City early so that we can visit the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, the Hanging Flume then ride up over the Uncompahgre Plateau and Lasalle Plateau before descending to world famous Moab. https://www.nps.gov/blca/index.htm

Day 6

Moab: Spend a day exploring Moab and the surrounding canyon country. Whether it be mountain biking the famous Slick Rock trail, rafting the Colorado River, riding the White Rim trail, or exploring Arches National Park, you will have a day to remember!

Day 7

Moab to Hanksville: On Day 7 we will view the petroglyphs at Newspaper Rock State Monument, cross a stream while ascending into the Abajo Mountains where we have amazing views into Canyonalnds National park and Dark Canyon Wilderness Area, We complete the day then ride thru the Bears Ears National Monument and up to Hanksville, Utah.

Day 8

Hanksville to Bullfrog Landing: Now deep in the heart of cabin country; Capitol Reef National Park and the Henry Mountains are the days highlights as we take in the amazing and colorful rock formations of Capitol Reef, the San Rafael Swell, and the Henry Mountains. We end our day on the shores of Lake Powell at Bullfrog Marina.

Day 9

Bullfrog to Bluff: Start your day with a ferry ride across Lake Powell before heading over to Natural Bridges National Monument and a ride thru the recently created Bears Ears National Monument. We spend the night in the beautiful red rock town of Bluff, Utah.

Day 10 - Bluff to Telluride

Leaving the canyons and red rocks behind we head back into the San Juan Mountains for a ride up to the beautiful ski resort and historic town of Telluride. Along the way we stop by the native American ruins at Hovenweep National Monument. http://www.visittelluride.com

Day 11 - Telluride to Creede

Enjoy the beautiful San Juan Mountains of Colorado as we take Ophir Pass, 11,789 feet 3,593 m, over to Silverton and then the Alpine Scenic Byway to the old mining town of Creede. This is absolutely the most spectacular section of the Colorado Rocky Mountains! http://www.creede.com

Day 13 - Creede to Westcliffe

The tour might be nearing an end but the amazing scenery keeps coming. Today we ride scenic road 149 over to Great Sand Dunes National park. The park contains the tallest sand dunes in North America, rising to a maximum height of 750 feet (229 m) from the floor of the San Luis Valley on the western base of the Sangre de Cristo Range. We then climb over the Range de Christo Range to spend the night in the funky town of Westcliffe, CO.http://www.westcliffe-colorado.com

Day 14 - Westcliffe to Golden

Enjoy a fun day of desolate dirt roads on our ride back to Golden. We will also visit one of the worlds tallest suspension bridges, the Royal Gorge Bridge, http://royalgorgebridge.com. We will have our final dinner together at Table Mountain Inn for our last night together in Golden.
